Good Practices of the PZU Group

The Good Practices of the PZU Group define the basic ethical norms and standards of conduct applied by the entities of the PZU Group. They constitute a set of values and rules to be followed by all employees of the entities of the PZU Group.

The obligation to act according to accepted standards applies to all employees of the PZU Group, regardless of the position they hold. This means acting in the best interests of those who rely on our professionalism: our clients, colleagues, shareholders and the general public. The PZU Group strives to create a corporate culture in which honesty, sincerity and respect are important elements.
In the PZU Group:

  • contact with the client is based on trust,
  • we inform clients honestly and fairly about the offers of the PZU Group,
  • we protect the personal data of all persons, in particular the data of clients, employees, counterparties and users of our websites,
  • we take care of security and protect electronic devices that the PZU Group makes available to us,
  • we protect all resources, including information that is the intellectual property of the PZU Group,
  • we base decisions on cooperation with suppliers exclusively on objective criteria of price, quality, technical parameters and suitability,
  • we comply with the law when entering into contracts, in particular with the rules of fair competition and consumer protection,
  • we act in such a manner that our brand is prevented from being accused of trademark infringement,
  • it is the responsibility of each of us to act responsibly and avoid situations that would create a conflict of interest understood as a conflict between our own interests and those of the PZU Group,
  • we do not tolerate corruption. In the execution of our business tasks and in our cooperation with business partners we act ethically and according to the law. We do not give or accept prohibited gifts or benefits in relations with business partners, their employees and agents or other third parties,
  • prevention and sponsorship activities may only take place in compliance with applicable laws and the rules laid down in the internal regulations of the PZU Group,
  • employees may not use the name of the PZU Group in any undertakings or initiatives of a political nature. It is prohibited to support candidates and political parties with funds that are owned by the PZU Group.
