The PZU Group published its first ESG report in accordance with the ESRS standard
PZU Group’s Annual Report 2024 includes the PZU Group’s first “Sustainability Statement” prepared in accordance with the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS), which are part of the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD).
The content of the statement is based on the results of a double materiality assessment, which identified the most important areas of the PZU Group’s operations in terms of both the Group’s impact and impact on the Group. To this end, the PZU Group defined its value chain to reflect the broad scope of financial and insurance services provided by the entire Group. The statement also includes information on sustainability indicators in the areas of insurance and investment, in line with the requirements of the EU Taxonomy. Under the new regulations, the Sustainability Statement was also subject to assurance for the first time.
